Every season produces great wide receivers, but only a select few consistently separate themselves when the lights shine the brightest.

The Prestine Top 50 recognizes the most complete wide receivers in the state of Florida based on an extensive evaluation process that goes far beyond regular season statistics. While production is an important part of our rankings, it is only one piece of the puzzle.

At Prestine Scouting, we place a premium on postseason performance. Championships are not won during the regular season—they are won in district tournaments, regional playoffs, the Final Four, and the FHSAA State Championships. Those games reveal which athletes elevate their performance when the competition is at its highest level.

Throughout the season, I evaluated athletes across Florida by attending regular season contests, district championships, regional playoff games, the Final Four, and the State Championships in Tampa. We studied route running, separation ability, hands, football IQ, body control, yards after the catch, contested catches, consistency, and the ability to make game-changing plays against elite competition.

Statistics were included in our evaluation, but they were never the deciding factor. We have found that regular season statistics can sometimes paint an incomplete picture. In some cases, statistics are inflated by the level of competition. In other cases, coaches choose not to submit player statistics—particularly during the postseason—which can impact how an athlete appears on paper. Because of that, we relied heavily on live evaluations, game film, and playoff production to ensure every athlete received the most accurate assessment possible.

One player stood above everyone else.

Dezaria Hampton separates herself from the rest on the field. She is the closest comparison girls flag football has to Randy Moss. Her combination of size, athleticism, ball tracking, body control, explosive playmaking ability, and dominance in contested catch situations makes her one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in Florida. She has repeatedly proven she can take over games against elite competition and has consistently delivered on the biggest stage. Her production and impact make her the clear No. 1 wide receiver in the state.

The athletes selected for the Prestine Top 50 represent the elite receivers in Florida. They have demonstrated the talent, consistency, and competitive drive required to excel at the highest level of girls flag football.

In addition to the Top 50, we have also recognized a group of Honorable Mentions. These athletes narrowly missed the rankings but have shown tremendous potential and possess the ability to develop into future stars. Many are already making significant contributions to their teams and could find themselves climbing into the Top 50 in the seasons ahead.
